He knows

At the bottom of Mt.Everest, he stood there wondering,"Will I ever make it to the top? Am I dressed warm enough? Have I got enough supplies for the hike? Am I strong enough?"

Deeply invested in his thoughts, the guide came to him and seeing the look on his face,"Don't worry mate, everything's gonna be alright." He assured him.

The guard had probably been up the mountain several times and he knew what to expect and how to navigate the harsh terrain and survive the intense weather.

Having a guide on that trip really gave him hope and assurance that all will be okay.

John 11:35

Jesus wept.

Jesus, our Lord and savior who was given all authority and the one who sits at the right hand side of God, came down to earth as a human. When his good friend Lazarus died Jesus went to his village and seeing how people mourned his death, Jesus also cried.

This means that Jesus could feel every single emotion that comes with being human. Though he was 100% God, he was 100% human and this shows how much love and compassion that God had for his people that he sent his only son to live among us as a human.

Matthew 4:1-4

Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After spending 40 days and nights without food, Jesus was hungry. Then the devil came to him and said,"If you are God's Son, order these stones to turn into bread."

But Jesus answered," The scripture says,' Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but in every word that God speaks.'"

Going without food for 40 days and nights leaves you hungry. The devil knew who Jesus was but he wanted to see if he would fall to human desires since Jesus was fully human.

But Jesus, since he was filled with the word he quotes the scripture and with that he resisted the temptation.

Matthew 26:39

..."My father,if it is possible, take this cup of suffering away from me! Yet not what I want but, but what you want."

Matthew 26:42

Once more Jesus went ahead and prayed," My father, if this cup of suffering cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done."

Matthew 26:44

Then Jesus left them, went away, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Jesus was filled with so much sorrow that he went forth in prayer asking for that cup of suffering to be removed from him but he knew that God's will had to be fulfilled. Jesus came to die for us on the cross for the salvation of all mankind. That was his purpose. To be the greatest sacrifice the world has ever seen and he knew that deep in his heart.

But since he was in a human body, he was unsettled. He knew what he would go through and he wanted all that to be removed from him but he knew that God's will had to be fulfilled. He had to suffer and his body beaten and to be crucified to die so that our sins may be forgiven and so that we may get to experience life through him.

We have all been in a place where we are faced by temptation, fear, grief, suffering, despair, hopelessness and other dimming situations in life. It has never been easy to navigate through all these things and in time we may give in and let it all consume us into a time loop of despair and anguish.

Rejoice you all for we now know the truth. We know that there is our savior who went through the extremes of it all and he emerged victorious at the end conquering sin and even death. Since his love is so great and his compassion so relentless, he doesn't want us to go through any of those depressing and languishing things for he has already won it all for us.

Psalms 18:16

The LORD reached down from above and took a hold of me: he pulled me out of the deep waters.

Jesus left for us the precious gift of the Holy Spirit to help us in every way. In times of weakness, he becomes our strength, in times of despair he becomes our hope, in times of grief he is our comforter, in times of uncertainty he leads us to the truth and in times of sorrow he is our joy.

Jesus leveled the playing field when he died on the cross. For he conquered everything under the sun. He gave us the Holy Spirit who now lives in us and it's through the authority he has given us in the Name of Jesus, that we are also conquerors with him. For we were raised to life with him and through our faith in Him we are made right with God the father.

John 16:33

"I have told you this so that you will have peace by being united to me. The world will make you suffer. But be brave! I have defeated the world!"

There's nothing too big that he can't handle. No mountain too high that he can't climb. No valley too low that he won't reach you. No furnace too hot that he won't stand by you. He will rescue you from any situation. He will find you and he will protect you. Just call out to him. He's standing at the door and He is knocking. Let Him in. Let Him in. Let Him in.

John 8:12

Jesus spoke to the pharisees and said," I am the light of the world," he said." Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness."

John 6:29

Jesus answered," What God wants you to do is to believe in the one he sent."
