Truth:The belt of the armour

John 14:6

Jesus answered Him,"I am the way the truth and the life:no one goes to the Father except through me."


Are you born again? Have you accepted Jesus as the LORD of your life? Have you confessed in your heart that Jesus Christ is the saviour and the true vine? Have you received the Spirit of God?


Being born again is believing in Jesus Christ. It is believing in the one who God sent


John 6:29

Jesus answered,"What God wants you to do is to believe in the one he sent."

Since Jesus is the bread of life, anyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.


Two things happen immediately you believe in Jesus:

-You receive the Holy Spirit

-You receive eternal life


To receive the Holy Spirit, you must have faith in Jesus and also have faith in the Father and believe that God raised Him to life. It is through faith that we are made right with God. Our deeds can never earn it.


Romans 5:1

Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our LORD Jesus Christ.


To receive eternal life, you must have the Holy Spirit living in you. The Holy Spirit is the one who comes to reveal the truth about God. He comes to lead us to all truth. It is written that,"He will not speak on His own authority, but He will speak of what He hears."-John 16:13. In John 16:14, Jesus says that,"He will give me glory because He will take what I say and will tell it to you."


With this, we see that by receiving the Spirit of truth, we also receive life for everything He tells us comes from the one who sent Him who is the way the truth and the life.


Now that we know that the Holy Spirit is the one who comes to reveal the truth about God, then let us learn to hear His voice whenever He speaks for He is always speaking.


We also know that all the written word is inspired by the Holy Spirit. So then read the word of God and let it remain in your heart. Stay on guard to protect the truth in your heart for the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. With all diligence, guard the truth in your heart.


Salvation is for all. Jesus has already paid the price and all that is left of you is to receive it.


Romans 10:9

If you confess that Jesus is LORD and believe that God raised Him from death you will be saved.


Our God is a good God. He calls each and every one of us to salvation and so He made it very simple but glorious, uncomplicated but everlasting, humble but full of authority.


Joel 2:13

The LORD says," Let your broken heart show your sorrows, tearing clothes is not enough"

"Come back to the LORD your God. He is kind and full of mercy; He is patient and He will keep His promise. He is always ready to forgive and not to punish."


Joel 2:32

But all who ask the LORD for help will be saved.


A lot has to be said. A lot has to be taught about the truth. My prayer is that may you believe in Jesus Christ and be saved so that you may receive the Spirit of truth who will reveal to you all these things and lead you to the truth. If you haven't yet received the Holy Spirit, ask your Father in heaven to give Him to you. He is a generous God and He gives without limits.


Luke 11:13

"Bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more then will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

The train of salvation

The train set off to begin its journey millennia ago, since the beginning of time. The train with infinite coaches always departing and yet it never really leaves. The train meant to carry everyone awaits for you to climb aboard. The train is in motion yet still stationary to allow anyone who wants to board to jump in. Once aboard, your coach leaves; you're called to pay attention to the journey and the destination. If attention is not paid, you begin running through the coaches back to the boarding station. Be careful not to lose focus. Be cautious that you don't end up running back to the station. For if you do it long enough, then I'm afraid you'll at one point have to alight and getting back on is not as easy as you did before.
